Before you can create your own design contest you need to have a user account. You create a account by clicking here!

When you have created your account you can start creating your own contest by clicking the red button named “Create New Contest”

2. Creating the contest

You will then be send to our create contest formular where you have to chose what kind of design contest you want to hold. F.x. Logo design contest

The next step we will ask you to fill out a design brief and some other information.

It is very important when you fill out the design brief that you give as much information as possible, since this is the information the designers will use when they design for your.

So please inform your business type, target group what colors you like, what style you are looking for. In other words everything you can think of.

You also set the amount that you wish to pay the designer whose entry you pick as the winner. We have set a minimun of 150USD for logo designs but we encourage you set prize as high as you can afford / want to spend on a logo.

In the final step of our creating contest section you can choose different upgrades to your contest, which will make it stand out and brig even more designers to your contest.

Finally you pay the fee for creating the contest and your contest is now online

3. Designers upload their designs

The designers will read your design brief and start designing and uploading their designs.

if you want to add more information to your ongoing contest or some general feedback to all the designers your can do it in the discussion board.

4. Provide feedback and rate each entry

Feedback is a very crucial part of a successful design contest. The Designers need feedback to understand what they can do better, if they are on the right track ect. It is important that you give as much information as possible when you provide feedback

Remember all designers can see feedback to every design, so when you give feedback to one designer,you automatically also tells the other designers what you like and dislike.

It is also important to give the designs a rating 1-5 (red - blue) because that gives them a notification on what you think of their designs and the style.

5. Choose a winner and perform the transaction

When you have declared a winner on your contest, you are obligated to pay the prize amount you set when you started the contest to the designer behind the wining entry.

You will be contacted by the designer though or PM system or you can contact him. Then you will talk about the payment metod and when you have paied the designer he/she will send your the design in the file format you stated in you contest.

The Designer will not send the design to you before he or she has received the prize money for the design.
