The "about" and "customer login" could be in boxes too (or what the style of the links), I just highlighted that the other 4 are the most important ones.

I like both round and sharp corners, it really depends on the style of the rest.

I am working on the menustyle right now.

Should the two last links: About and Company login, be on the front page as boxes too?
I think the login should be in a box, but what do you say? :)

The products, references, services, contact and blog links are the primary contents on the front page.

I think these need a more prominent position on the page.

This danish animation studio (http://km-animation.dk) has a simple frontpage, that features clips from their latest productions (aka news in my case) and some visible links to their main areas.

I would like to get away from the traditional menubar style

Consider http://37signals.com/ they have their 4 primary product links i big visible boxes.

Hi!

Here is my design. I don't know if you think there should be some kind of box below the News and the intro box. It is a bit wide compared to it's height.

But let me know what you think of it! :)

Another question; what about the navigation, do you want horizontally (like here) or vertical?
