Here's my input:

- The top looks great but the drop down needs a bit more and the font should be sans serif
- The title background does not work and disturbs phote. More simple and consider title color from mock up
- The focus text is not smooth or prof.
- Blog color is to vibrant and needs to be more suttle
- the overall width is to narrow which makes it all look a bit to cramped

We are getting closer
