We are ofcause very sorry that the contest holder in this contest has not been good given feedback. But lets at least be happy that he choose a winner.

Hi Designers

We cegomedia has taken over the feedback in this round, because the CH don't really know a lot to design. We will value entries accordinly to the brief, set by the CH.

We have removed a lot of entries from consideration and provided feedback to all the remaning + some of the entries that where moved from consideration.

thanks for the nice words and suggestions, :) I have made a version with the windows colors initially, but as you can see I used the color combo that can be seen on the "best yet" logo in this contest. :) This is the main evidence of lack of information...

@sepra4life: you are 116% rigth, im NOT visually educated... but maybe thats why im in here :-)

And Okenyon's entry got 5, because he cant do anything more about it. That logo is finish. That dosnt mean its the best.

As I said, more VERY good logos are coming in, so it will be hard to choose. Maybe I can buy more of them and have a random logo collection ;-)

I think you are 100% right

However regarding your entry, it is very well made, proberly the best. But before it would work with this type of company (microsoft consultant) then i don't think it should have the mozilla firefox colors in the ring. Maybe you should try to implement all 4 microsoft colors in the ring.. just an idear.

Anyway i though in my entry to use the colors and come up with a destintive symbol. i am sertanly not a logo designer.. more a webdesigner but i thought i would give this a try. :-) like i did with some of the other contests here at astada.. anyway this should not turn into a discussion club.

And contest holder.. the logo you like best do not send out a the trust of a microsoft consultant. You logo needs to be more unique and trustworth (reed professional)

Well it's obvious that you think so about Okenyon's entry, otherwise you wouldn't rate it 5. :)
But never the less, if you ware a bit visually educated, you would know the difference between a good and bad logo, so I guess it's are job as creatives to give some input to the CH's about that.
To revise all, I'm not trying to pull you away from the logo Okenyon made,
I'm just saying that it doesn't meet the brief completely.

Sorry if i havent wrote on every feedback, but the qty of logo were fare more than expected. I will take the time within 24 hours on those I like the most.

Overall Ill thankfull and there are still coming some good ones in.

->sepralife: I think the logo from Okenyon is a serious and strong logo :-)

Hope the next contest for my website, will be as good/creative as this ones

Likewise.
I would also wish that the contest holders would stick to their words mentioned in the brief.
According to them you desire a serious and strong logo, yet the most rated one is the complete opposite (nothing against you Okenyon), and to make things more absurd the entry's with ratings 4 are left without direct feedback and with no way of further progress.
