Summary![]() ![]() Community Brands is helping communities create and launch marketing campaigns around the topics of: economic development, social issues (hunger, homeless, health), community campaigns around special interests like alternative energy, conservation, micro lending, gender equality, human rights, etc. Although our work is global in nature, we are predominantly in the US for now. Looking for corporate identity that goes beyond the tired cliches of "holding hands" or "we are the world" stuff. Want something that inspires confidence and professionalism. Green is a preferred color BUT NOT necessarily required. We have tremendous appreciation for the creative process and would therefore not dictate a color pallette. ![]() I want to once again express my appreciation for the effort that is being put into this contest. As I already stated, this will be difficult (happy problem) to decide. I wanted to offer some general feedback as it would apply broadly to most entries. Whereas I appreciate some of the more non-traditional designs, I feel that they imply that our organization focuses on specific causes rather than a broad spectrum. For example, we are already working on engagements ranging from economic development community plans to launching a new non-profit group in the environmental space. So the corporate identity needs to be broad enough to apply accross many different types of engagements. The ones that have implied 'community' have appealed to me ... although I realize that I shyed away from that in the creative briefing. Not sure if this helps but thanks again for the continued submissions - I am very much looking forward to final selection as the contest comes to an end early next week. Thanks ~ Thom Ruhe
