Icons with photoshop

Had anyone designed icons using photoshop.Some of my friends say they can design icons in photoshop. Any experience on this topic.

If you know how to use Photoshop you can do almost ANYTHING with the program. Be warned it has a learning curve though.

Icons with photoshop

I have made icons wit Paint Sop Pro 6.02, and with MS Paint. All you really need to do is make a simple image, then pop online to a free icon creator to transform your image into an icon (.ico file).

I know some may feel like it is cheating, but hey, it works! *grin*

Icons with photoshop

Actually I found that photoshop is the most convenient way for me to design an icon since they are easy to use. I think that it depends most of which program you can use.
