Hiring a Web Developer/Designer

What helped me was to look at their previous advertised work. Most developers should have on their website samples of their previous work. This way you can see what they do and what they can achieve. I would stick with a company that has been in business for some time and you can search ther reputation on the BBB website.

Experience is necessary, choose someone with good track record. But if you have extra for risks why not make use of new one's, for sure they have fresh ideas. Its a way of assisting them gain and make use of their talent ready to burst and be up for competition.
