Hello to all photographers!
To produce a best quality image, one must have a good kind of camera. What do you think is the best brand of digital camera nowadays? Any idea?

I would have to say any camera produced by Fuji is a good choice. They have never let me down.

I really don't agree.. Canon is the way to go. I personally have Canon 450D and it is the best camera i ever hat. but ofcause it also has something to do with the lince.. But if you are looking to get a semi pro camera go for a canon 450D or 400D

Hi,
Well I have just bought a Canon EOS450D with a Speedlite 430EX and 8GB speed memoery, and UV-filter, and a carry bag.. Im so happy about it, the pictures is very nice, and with the right light and background a can make incredible images of people, portraits, and pictures in the danish night life...
All my pictures i use manual settings to optimize the picture, i run a ISO about 200 to 400, and a 1/60 - 1/80 settings, and primarily 5.6 in apperture.
The next thing i will buy is and ekstra battery pack for optimal batterylife time and length...

Why don't you all get a SLR digital camera from Sony? It has all the functions and features that you might need in a digital camera. Aside from that, Sony SLR camera has an anti vibration system to compensate for hand shaking during the camera snapping session.

i think sony is one of the best when is comes to gadgets. i have a sony digital camera and i also think that the quality of the pictures depend on how much megapixel it has.

I don't know if there is ONE brand that is superior to others. Maybe you should just focus on features instead of brand. Also, you must consider how much you can afford to spend. That is the starting point for your search.

oh, I forgot ...
I use a Canon PowerShot 5MP
Not the latest model, and I've had it for about four years.
You know what though, it really does a very good job still.

i agree with Florentin. gadgets are not about the brand. you need to find the best quality and features of it. you should look for camera that makes a good shot and picture.

I would say that any camera of minimum configuration of 10MP and 4X optical zoom would do good. But also see to that you have manual mode in it. And also a brand name of the camera is very important. I would prefer sony and canon.

In my opinion you often get what you pay for. I bought a cheaper branded digital camera three years ago and it has lots of great features, but it just does not have the quality associated with canon models.

I personally have a Kodak that I have been very happy with. As far as the best is concerned I don't know.

I use a nice fat Kodak Z812 with 12X optical zoom. It's enough for me! I basically use the point and shoot for most of the time, but I do like to play around with the other settings. It takes video too, but the sound quality sucks majorly. I'm overall very happy with it though!

Definitely the Canon cameras are certainly the top of the chain, the most quality cameras, Kodak is good too, As long as it provides you with quality pictures, who cares how old it is?

Yeah, a canon is good, just don't buy something over the top, get something affordable that can get the job done, you don't need a 500 dollar camera!
