Has anyone ever used Dreamweaver to create a website before? My buddy from college had used it in college for some of his computer related classes. He said he really liked it.

I was thinking of maybe purchasing it for myself, but how complicated would it be for a beginner to use?

Dreamweaver is a really nice place for beginners to start. It has what is called a behavior menu which will allow you to do all sorts of things to your page. There are also lots of free online tutorials for dreamweaver to walk you through it.

Thank you for the advice. I am going to look in to dreamweaver and see what I can learn from it. As a beginner I want to build up my skills in all different areas of design.

Yes, Dreamweaver is a great option for beginners for web design. It is very easy to use, and you can find a lot of free online tutorials. I even found a few books in my local library as well.
