Has anyone else taken up scrapbooking as a hobby?

I absolutely love to take photographs of everything and anything, and just recently started to scrapbook. It is a little on the pricey side, unfortunately though. Any tips on how to keep the cost down but still make a great scrapbook?

Some friends of mine are into scrapbooking with a vengeance. I don't get it myself but that's because I'm not crafty. I'd recommend looking at ebay and see if there is anything for cheap on there.

I did some scrapbooking years ago when it first became a big thing. I bought a lot of my supplies at craft stores using their store coupons for 50 or 60% off. Check online for coupons.

I am an avid scrapbooker. I love doing it! I know what you mean when you say how the prices are quite high, this is true.

Coupons helped me out the most. Also when a holiday comes around doing forget to ask for scrapbooking stuff. That is how I got most of my own.

I've always enjoyed scrapbooking, I don't do it all the time but occasionally I'll get back to it. I agree that it can be fairly pricey though. I've seen some kits that come with a lot of stuff that is great for scrapbooking and it's much cheaper than buying things individually. You may want to give that a try.
