Best platform for games?

Do you think that flash is the best platform for making interactive browser games? I'm no expert but from my observations it seems that it's the case as you rarely see a website dedicated to Java games whereas there are thousands of sites with flash games. The most popular ones such as MiniClip seem to prefer the platform as well.

Best platform for games?

Java games are not bad, but I myself am I windows gamer. Anything from WOW, to COD, or even a little Battlefield. I also have a PS Slim in the house (now the kids), a PS3 (mine) and an Xbox (spouses), I guess we are a family of gamers.
