PHP vs ASP.NET

What do you guys think about this? They have weak and strong points against each other but, in your opinion, what do you prefer to code your server side scripts?

I would opt for PHP, but I have to admit I do not have enough experience to really compare the two. I guess it depends on what you are working on.

PHP has long been established as the preferred format for industry professionals. That is why I would suggest it is better.

i would say that .Net technology is really rocking. But this is a rivalry creation from Microsoft. I hope that Php will be a better option as it is an open sorce. So you can always trust a open source and can go for it. PHP will have a bright future as many developments are constantly made in it

I consider ASP.Net as a better option. Because PHP programming cannot be extended to further limits.While ASP.Net is dynamic and has lot of features.

PHP vs ASP.NET

PHP has always worked the best for me, but you should try both and see which one works best for you.
