I would say that photography is an art to be mastered. Not everyone can take exciting photos. One must love the nature of the things which he would love to take a snap of it. So that interest will be developed and also this field demands a creativity.

i agree. photography is not just taking pictures. you should also try to build your being artistic. and a good photography can be seen even when it is the simplest picture.

It is an art indeed. No photographer can take two identical pictures of the same scenery. A photograph depicts emotions, creativity, passion and is not just a still image. Some photgraphers are able to create pictures that are quite breath taking or intriguing.

I agree with it being an art form but I still think anyone can create art. Art is so subjective and free that really what you might consider artistic could be terrible to another person and they could view themselves as an amazing artist that you think is awful. Overall, though, I believe that photography definitely allows you to express your artistic side.
