What webiste do you think has the best design? I've seen tons and the best one I have seen so far is a toss up between Amazon and Deviantart.com.

I think www.ign.com has the best design.

As for professional design, probably Amazon like you said.

I don't know really. I just like designs that are simple. I like clean lines and simple use of colour. I think many companies can go overboard and make the whole thing far too complicated.

Personally I feel PayPal's design is good.I really like the sites design coupled with flash stuffs.

I go for Yahoo designs because it is user-friendly, like you said the organization of data are logically presented.

I like www.ingdirect.com

Something about all that orange just perks me up -- exactly what I need when I'm doing my online banking! It's also very well laid out.
I remember a chemistry teacher that photocopied all our quizzes onto orange paper b/c she said orange made you think... I wonder if that's what this company had in mind too -- it works for me!

I agree with the poster who talked about sites that overdo. Sometimes, simplicity rules. I am often overwhelmed by all the streaming and video, with the popups and the bells and whistles that just bog down a computer's memory. I like clean and sleek, with colors that don't overpower, too.

I would consider friendster as the best one since you can choose any layouts that fits your lifestyle and you can change it anytime you want. :)

I think I will check them both out. Wordpress has thousands of themes compared to the other blogging websites that is out there.
