Freeware Flash Designer

Ok I'm not interested in paying a ton of money for a program to find out if I am interested in learning something, so what I am looking for is a freeware flash design program. Anyone care to help me out here?

Personally, I think that exploring freeware is the best option first since there are many excellent freeware programs out there.

It is really good to learn flash designing then paying bulk amount for it.But I think there are few free stuffs in internet to learn about flash designing.

Does Gimp have flash options?

I know it is free but I haven't had a chance to try it out.

I have, however, taken a look through Snapfiles and it looks like there are tons of possibilities there!

Let me resurrect the topic and repeat what Elvenrunelord asked about. I'm also looking for some reasonable flash desing software, most preferably OS one. Ages ago, there was sth called, I believe, Flash OS Designer, but I am unable to google it now.

Anyones uses anything free that might survive the comparison with original Flash ?

You can go to Cnet.com for freeware and shareware. I was just on there today. They have tons of downloads, just type in what you are looking for and it will return all sorts of products.

I Googled some different things to try and find what you are looking for because I'd love to find the same thing and I came up with a few different things. I'm not sure exactly what you're wanting to do as far as flash design but I found this list on CNET, http://download.cnet.com/windows/flash-software/. There are some different flash design programs there, though I think they are simply free trials with a watermark on the output. This website had some other options that may be more what your looking for, http://lifehacker.biz/articles/best-freeware-design-software/. If you scroll down there are some Flash Design options.
