Can anyone give examples of website designs that really caught your eye and what was it about these designs that caught your eye?

I am really not the kind of guy who looks at the designs, but definitely ign.com always gets me.

Otherwise, I am really just at the site for whatever info I need.

Generally the sites that catch my eye are the ones that I think are bad. Ones that take too long to load, or are full of advertising and those that have too much information crammed onto one page with columns off to the left, one off to the right etc.

I think e-bay and PayPal has nice script designing.I really like their script designs.They have simple and easy navigation and user interfaces.

Wikipedia is one of those with definitely great design. Its easy to navigate inside as well. So i vote for it.

The very first thing that could capture my attention is the color or the background of the website. It should blend well with the characters or the letters. Next thing to consider are the pictures. The site should contain relevant pictures.
